This movie pissed me off in the first 5 minutes and I didn’t make it much past that watching it. I know it got rave reviews and damn near has a cult following. But damn. At least TRY to make it consistently bad through out.
So in the scene where Bond is in the backhoe and gets shot. First, he twitches around in some epileptic looking fit like he’d been hit at least a half dozen times. Yet in the follow on scenes he has one gunshot would to the right shoulder.
And very clearly it is meant to be an extremely painful and debilitating wound because he couldn’t even use his arm to manipulate the controls on the machinery.
Yet less than a minute later he’s using the arm to climb up the side of the rail car to get to the roof to fight the badguy. In the picture at the right, the arm that he couldn’t even move a hydraulic lever in the backhoe is now being used in a life or death fight with badguy. Here… he’s clearly getting ready to bitch slap him.
I don’t watch movies, fictional “things” with the idea that they will be realistic. I do however expect them to be consistently unrealistic.
Stupid fucking movie.
